Who is this qualification for?
This accredited qualification is suitable for people who are currently working in a management position within a social or private housing organisation in England as well as those working in a housing role who are looking to progress into management. What are the entry requirements?
You must be 18 years old or above to enrol for the qualification however there are no additional entry requirements.
What will I learn?
There are 6 mandatory units in total for this qualification which include:
- Legislation and Regulation in the Housing and Property Market
- Policies and Procedures
- Context of the Business in the Housing and Property Market
- Business Planning and Performance Monitoring
- Customer Service and Stakeholder Relationship Management
- Financial Management
How long does it take to complete?
There is no minimum or maximum duration for completing this qualification although most learners complete within 6-12 months.
How am I assessed?
The first unit which covers legislation and regulation in the housing and property market is assessed via an online multiple choice exam.
The remaining 5 units are assessed through a portfolio of work based evidence to demonstrate your professional competency, knowledge, and behaviours against specified criteria.

What are the entry requirements?
You must be 18 years old or above to enrol for the qualification however there are no additional entry requirements.
If you have previously completed the IAO level 4 certificate in senior housing and property management, you will not be required to complete the following modules as part of this qualification:

Policies and Procedures
Business Planning and Performance Monitoring
Financial Management
